Low voltage track lighting is a cost efficient, versatile option for home lighting. Track lighting can be directed and focused on particular areas to highlight the focal points, or provide task lighting directed. Turn off the circuit breaker in the place where his low voltage track lighting will be installed. Locate the studs in the location you want to install the switch. Avoid asparagus during installation and make sure the area is clear for installing cables that run. Mark the area where you want the track installed. Use a stud finder to locate the ceiling joists. Connect the track to one beam or cover so each pin is placed in different beams if it’s a long track. Make a template for holes by holding the track to the ceiling and marking through the holes. Drill pilot holes for the screws and secure the track to the beam with wood screws.
