- Provide the Dutch payroll and coordination of the international payroll (Belgium, Luxembourg, UK, France, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico, South Africa, Australia, Brazil and back-up for the USA payroll) and wage tax declarations using outside payroll service providers, and other parties relevant for payroll processing;
- Prepares monthly payroll amendments reflecting employee status changes of payroll input and verifies the output;
- Ensures that international payroll is run;
- Preparation of monthly national and international payroll payments;
- Prepares and maintains compensation and salary overviews in compliance with national fiscal and social security legislation;
- Is responsible for up to date general ledger payroll accounts and prepares reconciliations and accruals for Finance;
- Verifies all expense vouchers and related invoices on taxable items for payroll amendments (benefits in kind and taxable and non-taxable extra-territorial costs);
- Assist HR in administering Employee insurance contracts including the company Pension Plan;
- Supervise/Coordinate the Salary Administration and ensure regular reporting to the VP HR and Finance Manager;
- Support the annual Salary / Merit adjustment process.
Om in aanmerking te komen voor de vacature Payroll Coordinator bij SES Newskies, moest je voldoen aan:
- Preferably Bachelor degree;
- At least 5 years experience as a senior payroll expert preferably in an international environment;
- Analytical skills and High level of accuracy;
- Initiative, tact and discretion;
- Understanding and experience of the labor law matters of The Netherlands as well as understanding of the social security and tax legislation (e.g. 30% ruling, stock option plans), accounting principles;
- Good knowledge of in general and knowledge of foreign payroll;
- Ability to set priorities and to work under tight deadlines;
- Computer literate (MS Office applications, payroll and payroll systems (ADP) etc.);
- Work independently as well as in a team;
- Easiness to communicate;
- Fluency in spoken and written English and Dutch.
