As Technical Sales Manager Ruminants you will be responsible for account management of feed mills, distributors. You will be a technical discussion partner for these accounts, assist them in expanding their market success sans support their customers. To achieve this you will combine and develop your skills with R&D and nutritional know-how. You are responsible for introducing new products , concepts en knowledge to the customer. You have a good knowledge of ruminants and proven commercial success in previous positions. The right candidate combines nutrition skills with a commercial focus.
Specific responsibilities
- Give general dairyproduction support at customers
- You are responsible for introducing new products, concepts and R&D results to the customer
- Ensure a solid development of sales (mineral products, additives and milk replacers)
- Represent the Company during industry events
- Strong involvement in marketing communications (trade shows, marketing materials, promotional events)
- Participate in key account and product development teams
- University degree in animal science, ruminants, zootechniek, or veterinary medicine or equal through industry experience
- At least 3 years technical and commercial experience in the feed industry
- Excellent communication / team skills
- Technical know-how on ruminant production management
- Proven track record in Value Selling
- Command of Dutch and English language
