- Responsible for setting, following and controlling a commercial budget as well as a marketing budget to achieve the results that are previously required by management
- Encourage the development of the organisation by working closely together with the commercial internal service, the external service, the supporting departments in The Neterlands and the product managers
- Guide and initiate change processes
- Motivate the sales team by setting goals and providing them with the necessary tools
- Report to the management
- Submit a forecast of the product sales
- Create and implement marketing activities and campaigns in combination with the head office
- Creating conditions for optimal efforts of the employees and resources within the sales organization
- Follow developments within the industry (competition, market development, market potential, market share, product development).
- At least HBO education (Bachelor or Master degree)
- Relevant commercial work experience in the agricultural sector
- Broad management experience
- Prepared to live in Canada
- Fluent use of English and Dutch
- Reliable, fair, accurate, very flexible
- Result-oriented
- Team spirit, listening and problem-solving ability
- Pragmatic, no-nonsense and analytical
